Hi. Although I already have a plasma an older 1000i esab 80 amp Big heavy machine cuts 1'' easily. I had a notion a small light cheap carry around would be handy to have. After A bit of researching on Amazon and e bay Canada I bought a " Reboot " 50amp. it arrived safely. Well packet in a doublebox Mt first impression was how light and small everything looked I suppose that's being used to the esabBut I was very impressed when I tried it. Sliced cleanly and quickly through 1/2 steel bar. I paid$ 368Canadian and free shipping I think they may be from the same factory as Lotos There are a lot of different models of them though. This one is the RBC 5000d I wanted the HF start and the PT 31 torch as theconsumables can be bought in large quantities on Amazon and E bay very cheaply I think it is a moreexpensive torch than the AG 60 which seems to be on most of them The 12' torch lead is enough But I had to lengthen the ground cable as it was only 4' I find it very handy to carry around and use with the generator some times and at the price if it last a couple of years it will be ok I see some of them seem tobe asking a higher price and a 3 year warranty I think this is a 1 year overall I am impressed with thisMachine But I suppose time will tell
