OK machine Everlast 141 STL.  Cable length in manual states length 25 feet. I have 1 awg cable and plan to connect with tweco connectors or whatever you call a "regular" cable connector.  I never new what a Dinse was till I bought the Everlast.  After turning down on lathe to make a adapter. Reason I ask is that's a pretty hefty chunk of brass with hefty cable and I know a "regular" welding machine likes big connectors and big cable but what about the inverter machines. I ask similar question before and didn't really understand the reply. So basically can I use what I have with the 141 or do I need to buy some smaller cable and connectors. Thanks
Reply:I would think it's just a dinse 25, 1awg cable is to heavy I would think a 15' #4 with a small dinse 25 and a small 125/150 stinger
Reply:Yes you can use the 1awg cable with the 141. It is bigger than needed but it will not hurt anything.
Reply:Just buy an adapter or put a Dinse plug on your existing cable. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk:
