Hobart 10000 cannot turn heat down

My Hobart Chanpion 10000 runs great, but I cannot turn the heat down. She's running HOT and then gets Hotter.  I've been welding for over 40 years and never had this problem.

Reply:Probably a bad rheostat or something similar. Hopefully someone with repair experience comes along. You might be able to download a manual with your serial number on the Hobart and/or Miller site with a troubleshooting guide.
