Ive got a miller thunderbolt that needs the transformer lead spliced . Thought Id ask someone who maybe had a better idea and the best way to splice it together again. Thanx !!!

take some fine emery and clean up about an inch on both sides of the crack, if its copper I would braze it back and be done, if its copper coated aluminum I would find a mechanical means to fasten them back together..

JB weld back together, If that doesn’t hold I guess a new one is only about 15 dollars.
Reply:una pregunta le ha pasado a alguno de ustedes que al encender una Thunderbolt 225 XL no tenga salida ninguno de los 2 transformadores secundario? ni el bajo ni el alto. Que podria ser? la probé con otro eje selector de otra maquina y tampoco genera la salida de 70 voltios.. Que podrá ser eso?
