Reply:I buy mainly 12 and 14 gauge steel plate for the weather vanes that I make. Dec. 2020 I paid $50 per 4x8 sheet of 14 gauge and $70 for the 12 gauge. Last month I paid $150 for the 14 gauge and decided to make the weathervane arms from 14 instead of 12 gauge. Was selling them for $59 each but had to go to $69. Have seen a decline in business with the higher prices. I used to charge $3 above actual shipping cost to cover cost of the box and packing peanuts but am up to $5 over cost and next order of boxes will need to increase to $6.Miller 350 DynastyMiller TrailblazerMiller 625 Plasma Lincoln Power MIGVictor oxy/acetyleneHyperthem 85

Reply:I haven't bought any new metal since last Dec. so I haven't kept up on increases, but I do know our scrap prices maxed out at just over $400/tonne Cdn. last month. Seems to be slipping now so it will take a while for new metal to come down.250 amp Miller DialArc AC/DC StickF-225 amp Forney AC Stick230 amp Sears AC StickLincoln 180C MIGVictor Medalist 350 O/ACut 50 PlasmaLes
Reply:I wish I has prices like that. I just quoted a stainless mezzanine, 8' x 24' x 10' high. Almost 45k for materials alone with almost no waste.Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
