what do i need to do when im starting to weld somthing and the wire starts curling up into balls of wire ?
Reply:In the past, for me anyways, it has meant poor product condition, ( oil, dirt, rust ect) or a poor connection to the product through ground clamp. Also, on some occasions I have seen it happen when steel has pickeling on it. thats the greyish colored coating most steel such as angle iron or box tubing has on it when new. Sanding it off has cured that as well.I suppose low heat setting could cause it as well, but my assumption is you have propably already tried to change the heat and speed settings.Doc.Some of the things I do would cause a person to get hurt, expelled, arrested, or possibly deported. To put it another way, don't try this at home.Look at the stars whenever your can. That light travelled a long way to get here, dont let it go to waste on some patch of asphalt.
Reply:your right it was the angle iron i was usingthanks |
