ok well i have a craftsman mig welder i got from a friend, and i just bought a regulator, tips and a nozzle for it, anyway, i  hooked up the tank and stuff, and i turned the tank on and everything was good, but when i pulled the trigger the gas started comming out of the nozzle and wouldnt stop... so i turned the tank off, also i noticed that if u touch the torch to the ground clamp it it automattically welds, without me even hittin the ttrigger
Reply:Sears is pretty good about having manuals available for their stuff. Try a Sears parts counter or http://www.sears.com.The manual will tell you how it is supposed to work and help you troubleshhot if it doesn'tI've heard if Migs where the wire is hot all the time but that isn't too common.
