Sum people say I am crazy but I find welding relaxing am I crazy for saying this? Mike
Reply:Yes, I do find it to be relaxing. I think it is because I love to do it. When I plan on doing something I think about it and do some planning in my head and after I get started welding on it I feel much more relaxed.Welder- Miller Thunderbolt AC 225-DC 150 Plasma cutter, Miller Spectrum 300O/P torch- Victor 100
Reply:so i am not going crazyMike
Reply:When i am welding at the table and have plenty of time ,yes it is relaxing.when it is 15 degrees outside and i am hanging off a ladder trying to patch a leaking pipe with my supervisor telling me to hurry up.NO that is not relaxing.
Reply:yea good pointMike
Reply:well thank you all and if you have more to post go i would like to here what you have to sayMike
Reply:Relaxing? Often. Not always
Reply:YES.... Helps to relieve the everyday stress. When ever I start to feel stressed or restless off to the garage I go for some metal heating and creating. Even if O an just only practicing my welds, I feel alot better when I am finished. Plus while Iam out welding no one will come out and bother me.
Reply:yea the same here after a day of everyday stress and come home and start welding that help, and a cup of coffeeMike
Reply:After I weld for a bit, I usually relax a lot and the quality of my welding skyrockets.
Reply:I have about an hour to do, should have done it tonight. Its been sitting there for 2 days, just waiting for me to "relax" hawww.urkafarms.com
Reply:Guess it is all a matter of perspective. I sit in an office all day, so coming home and heading out to the workshop to do some welding is a nice change of pace.
Reply:Not only is welding relaxing but molten metal running down you back and into your shoes is refreshing! |
