Reply:I rarely get involved in the recommending of size/type for folks who have never welded before. Welding may not work out for them any way so there are just too many unknowns, but I can tell you that little machine just isn't going to get it for. You'll be either disappointed at welding in general or not be able to accomplish what you want to. So here's we go: Think the three major brands, miller, hobart, lincoln (tried and proven)Think 140 amp class on up. Higher than 140 amp output usually puts you into the 230 volt feed application.Think gas shielding. That's going to add some bucks. Plan on $575.00 on up to be set up ready to weld. |
