I need to weld 1/8" chromoly to 1/8" chromoly. should this be a tig process or will a standard 60ksi wire in a mig setup work?
Reply:Tig for chromemoly...to do it right you should follow proper preheat and post heatCHRIS
Reply:it can be done with mig I would recomend a er-70 series wire and a mapp tourch for pre and post heating.....tig has more heat control though..look it up on lincolns site....Bonez
