alright guys, im new to welding, but been dying to learn...I was given a Millermatic 251 that is almost new, barely been used with the spool gun...only problem is it has no tanks (but the dual tank rack), and the two hoses the ends were cut off so its just the hose, no meters....anyone know what replacement part i need for that and whats the best/cheapest place to purchase one? Also, since im a noob and all, does anyone have a list of around what wfs and voltage would be best for certain sizes of steel, just so i have a starting point to work from until i find what works best for me?Thanks,Spencer
Reply:I was in one of the Airgas stores today browsing around.  They sell gauges complete with the hose or you could could buy just a gauge and a replacement fitting with a barb to repair the hose you have.  Not trying to rain on you parade but the welder sounds a little fishy if you get my drift.  Just unusuall far something like that to go cheap and be missing the regulator and the hose to be cut.  The exception would be a salvager that didn't know what he had.  The MM251 should make you happy.  PS Look inside of the door and it should have a chart that gives ballpark setting for the machine.DennisThermal Arc 185-TSWMillermatic Challenger 172VictorO/AAtlas Craftsman 12 by 24 LatheEsab PCM-875Wholesalem Tool Mill-Drill
