Just picked up an Oxy Fuel Victor welding set. I also have an Arc welder.My question is can I weld (braze) on an angle or does it have to be a flat surface? Also any good books anyone recommends for me to learn oxy fuel welding?Thanks.
Reply:You can use oxyfuel in all positions, welding is a little easier out of position than brazing, but not much. You can weld only with acetylene, but you can braze and silver solder with propane, mapp or natural gas.bob creely
