Hello people, I was just wondering if anyone here knows of any pipefitting outfits here in Arizona. More and more everyday I am fascinated by this position and have always wanted to be a Pipefitter since I started welding. I've been welding for 4 years now welding structural steel. I have acquired much knowledge in that time and think i'm ready to move on to the Pipefitting industry while I am still young. If anyone knows of any companies here in the grand canyon state or close that could take me in and teach me what I need to know to be on my way, let me know...I even have my own SA-200 pipeline welder now. Thanks.
Reply:Talk to Rod Hammill and his staff on Mesa Community College's welding faculty--They have their own building in the parking lot nearest the f'way, but they may not be there until classes restart Aug 19th.I suspect they know pretty much what the scene may be in AZ from their experience and contacts
