So I'm looking through a procedure we have for a piece of equipment and it requires heating with a "saline torch." Every search I do on the net turns up the term only with regards to neurosurgery. Now I know we do some really cutting edge testing out here on state of the art equipment, but this thing ain't any of the cool stuff, so....What the heck is a saline torch? Reply:Maybe it was supposed to be a Saleen torch, like a Saleen Mustang...
Reply:Saline torches are used in alot of endoscopic surgeries. Are you sure it didn't read "propylene torch"?John - fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!- bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com
Reply:Yup. The T.O. calls for a "saline torch." Mind you, we'll be using an oxy-acetylene torch, but I'm still wondering what a saline torch is.KalroyKalroy"It's all about the OODA Loop." |
