I am looking for a welder that can weld an aluminum gas tank around 250 gallons for my motorhome. The tank will carry Biodiesel so it does not need to be DOT certified since it does not carry toxic fuel. If you are in the area send me your email address and I will send you the design. It will be a basic box tank with 2 baffles inside and welded to the frame of the motorhome. [email protected].
Reply:If you don't find a welder in Texas, let us know. There are several on this forum that can produce the item you want, including myself. Again, if nobody local can do it, just supply the basic dimensions and it can be done. You wouldn't be able to weld and aluminum tank to a steel chassis. It would need brackets of some sort.John - fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!- bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com
