Has anyone done the 15-week Lincoln Electric program? It looks good just reading on their website, but I'd like some real world opinions about it.Thanks!
Reply:bump....
Reply:Before you decide on Lincoln, you should also check out Hobart.  It is also in Ohio.
Reply:Yep. I'm looking at Hobart, Lincoln, and WTTI. I'm big on Lincoln at the moment because of the course length. (Of course, a shorter course can be bad as well)thanks
Reply:Sorry don't have any real knowledge of these courses, but just wanted to say that Lincoln strikes me as a very organized, well structured, innovative welding company.  Back 10 years ago, my impression was that Miller was more of leader in innovation, and Lincoln was stuck in back in the good old pipeliner Fleet 5P days.  More recently, working a bit with the Lincoln PowerWave, and seeing the their STT process, and Dual MIG process, really impressed me.  I would love work with and learn more about these innovations and any others by Lincoln.Did work with the Hobart ArcMaster 501 and HMC-410 pulsed MIG system for a number of years and was very impressed its capabilities, but I think the Lincoln Power Wave has surpassed it.  Also I think Hobart been all split up with some divisions going to ITW and Thermal Arc?
