Dear welding expert,I am a student at the University of Applied Sciences in Austria and I am doing a market study involving the differences between European and North American welding markets. This study will be part of my thesis and it would give me great pleasure if you, as a welding expert, would support me in my studies.The regarding questionnaire concerns welding related topics and it only takes 5-10 minutes of your time. Reply:I get the impression that people on this site are reluctant to participate in this survey for some reason.I took the "risk" and checked it out.It appears totally legitimate and directly liked to the University of Applied Sciences - Upper Austria.Hey, it's Austria, not China or whatever other country you may have a beef with.Maybe some more people could help out Anna00 with her survey.What the heck, we converse with Australian blokes and sheilas, you know.

Reply:Anna,I didn't mean to rush you, but surveys do need an end date or they tend to just hang on and on, and the threads will continue to grow like this one does.Don't take the negative feedback personally. I don't know about Austria, but in the U.S. we tend to be over-surveyed. People grow tired of them, and often suspicious.
