anyone know where there is a welding school on Long Island, NY

I have a pretty decent handle on welding but I would really like to improve my skills I live on Long Island, NY zip is 11758 just looking for a place where I could maybe take some classes I dont need to get certified or anything just looking for some formal instruction if anyone knows anywhere please post it up thanks
Reply:ttt would also be interested some videos I could purchase that are recommended, Ive read a ton of books on it and I do a lot of welding on exhuast and automotive stuff but I would like to take an instructional class to just broaden my knowledge If theres anyone in the Long Island area let me know thanks

Reply:Check with Nassau BOCES, they might have something. I took several stick classes at night in Western Suffolk Boces, Dix Hills campus, thought they were great. More expensive than they used to be, upwards of $600 now for something like 45hrs, 90% booth time/10% classroom. Reply:What processes/materials are you looking to pick up? There are a lot of skilled welders here, you can get a lot just for the asking...Zapster has even held tig workshops  up in the Boston area, we just missed the last one but it got kudos all around.If you don't have the time to do it right, then you definitely don't have the time to do it over.
