I know that you should change hoses and tips for acetylene to propane conversion but what do you guys recommend for a regulator, can I use the acetylene reg. or do I need another one? What pressure should the propane run at?"Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum"Lincoln Idealarc 250 AC/DCMillermatic 251 Syncrowave 300 30A spoolgunLincoln MP210Hypertherm 45(2) LN 25(2) Lincoln Weldanpower 225 CV(4) SA200 1 short hood SA250 SAM 400
Reply:I've used the same reg that is set up for acetylene but in hind sight a person may want to check with a regular torch shop on that. It may make a difference what types of plastic and/or rubber components are in any particular regulator. Not like there is an instant decomposition or anything. It's a long term affair. Gives you time to research.

Reply:You don't need to change hoses or regulators, just tips. |
