welder source online?  I am going to be buying a synro 200 and wanted to go local but they are over 200 more expensive than welder source.  I like to keep sales local but can't justify the 200+ dollar differential + sales tax which makes it over 300 dollar.My only question is how is service with these guys...and god forbid - which DID happen with my new MM210 the transformer went after using the first time!  The local guy came and picked it up, gave me a replacement to use, then dropped off the unit after it got fixed...but again I am back to 300 dollar difference.  I live about 2 hours from the repair place, so I guess I am willing to risk the possible drive to get it repaired, should something happen....but again want to know what Welder Source is like.....Any comments/suggestions?  Thanks!Best Times with 434 Naturally Aspirated Vette60 - 1.261/8 -  6.37@ 107.25 MPH 1/4 - 10.08 & 134.9MPH1/4 - 9.60@144MPH

Reply:For $300 I'll take the service you've recieved from your LWS anyday over having a ****y LWS and/or having to drive 400 mile round trip. Who knows, print out the page with the lower quote, he might work with you if he knows you can save a little money elsewhere. That is if Welder Source ships free like IOC. Like zap said, S&H is also part of the cost.

Reply:GUys,I did tell them I could get it for 1800 off the net.  I bought my 210 from them from them in January, and DID have problems which they came to my house and took care of it and left me with a vintage unit for use while the 210 was getting fixed....NO COMPLAINTS there.  However with the free shipping the difference with tax etc is over 300 dollars.  have to make a decision.Thanks for the input.Best Times with 434 Naturally Aspirated Vette60 - 1.261/8 -  6.37@ 107.25 MPH 1/4 - 10.08 & 134.9MPH1/4 - 9.60@144MPH
Reply:IMO, the extra $300 is worth it to not have to worry about shipping the thing anywhere to get warranty repairs done.  Sometimes you just can't beat local service.
