Reply:No image, so it's tough to tell. There are at least a dozen low cost 110V welders that fit the description.John - fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!- bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com
Reply:Here is a pic of the welder. Thanks for the help. Here is the link for the welder. The only difference between this one and the one I won is this one is 90amp model and mine is a 87 amp model. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...4841&rd=1&rd=1
Reply:That is a Chicago Electric sold mostly by Harbor Freight. I think that eBay seller is a HF reseller or damaged goods seller. There are a few on eBay. They work for what they are. A few members here have them and use them. I'm sure you can get parts and consumables from either HF or by calling their customer service number.John - fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!- bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com
Reply:For $91 total cost, I think you did pretty well. If it works, you are ahead of the game. If it doesn't work, you can get parts from HF.Good luck and enjoy it.Let us know how it compares to your pro mig for what it does. |
