Garden critters?

I have searched the boards for about a half hour and did not find much pertaining to this subject...is this an area that is not that popular?  I see all sorts of inspiration, and seeing as my mom is a master gardner and already has many of this little figures i thought i would start making some of my own.  Does anyone do this in there free time?  I would like to share ideas, but i don't know if there is anyone that shares this hobby with me.
Reply:If you're referring to home made animal type stuff for the garden, what I call rusty relics, I see a lot of this stuff in the gift stores in the tourist trap towns.  Some of them are really creative and the most successful, IMHO, are the ones made of "found" junk items.  I always thought it would be fun to raid an old bone yard with a wagon to collect an inventory of material to do some of these, but I have never found a good source.  If you make or have made something, be sure and post some pics to share.Hobart 140 Handler w/ gasHyperTherm Powermax 380 Plasmaoxy/acetylene

Reply:Thanks bob!The idea (my idea anyways) is to use free/cheap stuff.  I don't really care how old it is, or how it comes into my possession as long as it does not take much out of my pocket.  I have been making notes in my palm pilot, and taking photos of inspiration for awhile now.  I should have plenty of creative material.  I doubt i will get anything done before this Friday, which is when i leave for florida for ten days.  After that though, it will be on!
