Reply:I've used a smith little torch for sheet metal. Primarily18 gauge. Off hand I don't rememberwhich tip(s) I used. But since I don't do it every day I typicallyhave to spend about 10 minutes playingbefore I get properly set up. I use scrapsof mig wire as a fillerLots of fun.Not sure it is the *best* or fastest way of joiningsheet metal. You are heating the metal till it meltsso you can't do things like use Al/Cu backing to keep distortion down.-Almus
