welding gloves w/ legs?

Am I the only one who is always forgetting thier gloves somewhere?  I swear I spend at least a few hour a year (if you add it up) wandering around my house and shop looking for my frickin gloves.  Is this a common thing?Last edited by SlapHappyDrums; 06-29-2007 at 06:57 AM.
Reply:It's always just one of my gloves that runs off.  I can always spot one glove but the other is appearently an expert at hide-and-seek.Smithboy...if it ain't broke, you ain't tryin'.
Reply:Only your gloves have legs?  Consider yourself very lucky.Plenty of tools have legs and most tape measures have wings.  Favorite right now is a Miller Syncro 200.Tons of tools and I blame at least one of them when things don't go right.

Reply:I always put my gloves back in the same place. Call it OCD but at least I know where they are when I go to look for them. Reply:It works for awhile, at least untill you end up w/ two Right hand gloves here and three left hand gloves there ,  then all of the sudden 5 pairs of gloves are MIA
Reply:I cut the fingers off of mine and wear them all day long. Plus I have 3 pair in case I chinger one up.

Reply:My glove never gets "lost"I put it in my mask when i'm done with anything..And the mask goes in the filing cabenet at the end of the day..My chainsaw gloves are behind the seat in my truck..I wear them out..Never lose them.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:I have a similar problem which is getting worse as I get older, I'll put something down and moments later won't have a clue where it is, tapes, gloves, chipping hammer, wire brush, you name it I'll lose it.
Reply:I keep my gloves near my helmet.  They watch out for each other.  Clive, I have the same problem.  I probably have one tape measure for every room in the house.  Plus two for the garage, and one for the trunk of the car! Reply:it could be worse, i constantly stuff my gloves in my back pocket, then forget they are there.no way to go lookin for those, it usually takes me a few minutes of wandering around to realize theyre in my pocket haha
