I am currently a non code shop welder building skids for large compression units using mig spray arc. I am 3g certified in stick welding and am thinking of buy a truck and gas or diesel driven welder to get a job doing structural work in the field and maybe some pipe work in the future. I am looking for recommendations. thanks in advance.
Reply:if u r looking to do pipe in the future then a Lincoln SA-200, classic I,II ect. is the industry standard and has been for the last 60 yrs. depending on where u live u might be able to locate one easily. several have been sold on here. there are other units that are avaliable such as miller big blue series as well as the trailblazer will do the job. i have a SA-200 that i use for my big pipe jobs and i am getting a trailblazer 302 in feb.63' Lincoln SA200 2008 miller trailblazer 302fibre-metal pipelinermiller camo BWEand all the guns and ammo a growin boy needs
Reply:what would be a fair price for a used one in good shape |
