I have the truck rack finished but the polishing is not going exactly as I expected.I started with the Flap disc 60 then 80 grit and left the welds just a little high then flattened them with a belt sander. I like the results from taking the belt sander and riding on the front roller but I cant do everything this way singe it is directional. So I grabbed the DA sander and slapped a 100 grit on... not exactly what I was going for.Suggestions?Me!
Reply:High-Speed body grinder...you need wheel speed, a light touch and a fine grit.Anything worth doing is worth doing RIGHT

Reply:I did a SS butterfly http://www.weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread...t=wedding+giftand I used a pneumatic die-grinder with twist on scotch-brite pads of varying degrees of roughness to achieve a polished look
