Just called Garland Steel to get some prices on some 1/4 to 1/2 steel plate drops and they said they charge 60 cents a pound, does that seem about right or does anyone know of a cheaper/better place for me to get some steel plate in the dallas area.
Reply:My per pound price seems to be in the 55/56 cent area of late. 60 cents wouldn't seem out of line to me. I just wish my suppliers would still sell drops.

I ordered a bunch of 4x8x1/4 the other day. It showed up today for 96 cents/lb I about fainted.....I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man...... |
