I am in the process of setting up a oxy/propane torch for my home shop..I bought a nice used Smith Torch set up today for $100 Only about a year old and looks almost new..CW5A handle..Ive never owned a Smith but have heard plenty good about them. Anyway what pressure do you like for a oxy/Propane set up? Pretty similar to Oxy/ace???

Reply:Thank ya'. Im goin' to pick up a T grade hose and some tips tomorrow..
Reply:Propane will cost more in the long run, because of the oxy to fule ratio, but it will allow you to cut thicker and on rusty metal because of the secondary BTU's available with propane over C2H2 (Acetylene) |
