im currently going to welding school and im looking to buy a machine that will last me some time and that i can use for all the aplications i need be.that being said id like to be able to stick weld up to mabe 1/2 steel and also be able to mess around with some tig..im ultimately looking to get certified to pipeline weld so i need a machine that i can practice welding pipe with..the pipe is usally 1/4 inch steel..can i do all these things with a maxstar 200 STR?thanks in advance..lenny spero
Reply:If you want to do Tig..Get a good Tig machine with watercooling capabilities...That way there you can Tig..and when needed blast away with a stinger!2 for the price of one.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
