If a 11 mm fillet is called for with a dihedral angle of 90 degrees, what would the fillet size be on the obtuse side of a 110 degree angle? Thanks,Mike

Reply:For other angles ( and the way I got this one){1/cos[90-(angle/2)]}x fillet size/2Last edited by Brett; 11-03-2007 at 05:56 PM.A good guess is better than a bad measurement
Reply:Material thickness plays a large role. Depth of fusion (penetration) plays another. Joint prep yet another.
