Hey guys,    For everyone or anyone interested in attending the TIG clinic that Zap has scheduled for NOV 10th, 2007, it will still be held regardless of the outcome of any temporary suspension currently in place. I have contacted a few members already but I figured it would be more beneficial to post this in a thread.Same time and location as always, same rules and requirements apply. So if you are planning on going just sound off in this thread so we can try to get an accurate number. Thanks, look forward to seeing you there. _________________Chris
Reply:i'm interested, but where is it exactly? i have a feeling it's in a completly different state. thanks!
Reply:Sorry,For those that don't know the class is held here..www.monarchmachineworks.comRules..Bring your mask..Gloves..Girlfriends/Wifes....They will not like being in a shop for hours on end.. We will do lunch at some time or another..This time around I'd like to keep it to newbees that need tig help..I appreciate all that has come in the past and you know who you are.._________________Chris
Reply:Hey, did Zap get suspended on here? If so, that sucks!!!
Reply:Darn thats on my anniversary weekend, I really want to go but i guess ill wait and hope for the next one  , Can you change it to the 3rd or 17 haha
Reply:I'll be there.
Reply:One of the rules I have had in the past..And should be "in force" now is that all attendees MUST be a member of this site..Thats not too much to ask..4 times now going on 5......zap!This is from Zaps post. ************** BOB******************If the suspension is not lifted then Zap will not be in compliance with his rule. Just trying another angle to get him back, we can use his input.

Reply:Him are some other members are under a temporary ban from posting, though they can still view the site. I would like to come up, but my travels dont put me in that area so early in winter.  If there is one later in the season (Jan-April) I can almost def come since I will be in VT for snowboarding often,Have we all gone mad?
Reply:if you can go I suggest GO!!!! I went last time and had a great time I'm going to try to go this time I'll have to see how busy I am. Lorenzo are you going ?
Reply:I had a great time.  Met some nice people.  Learned a lot. That was 2 months ago. I finally got Zaps stitch weave.Thank you for showing me.David Real world weldin.  When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.

Reply:I would come, but since it is a beginners class I will keep my nose out of it. I highly sugest that any one thinking of going, should go. You will learn alot, meet some good people, and have fun.Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."
Reply:Yep, it you can go you should!  It's a good time, and you will learn how to TIG properly Thanks Zap!  Me!
Reply:I will be leaving Canton in the moring providing I have my rental vehicle ready for the evening before.  NOV 10th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.Lew Ray. weld it like you own it
Reply:I wanted, really wanted, to make this one.  I'm so close to being a TIG cherry that it's embarassing.  But I'm having knee surgery on 10/30 with at least a week of restricted mobility.  At best that would make it possibly a problem to sit in the car for 4+ hours, then be walking around and then another 4+ to get home.  I think discretion is the better part of valor this time.
Reply:Wish I could attend, but I'm on the left coast in the land 'o fruits and nuts.    See you, but can't hear you typing: ZAP!  Hobart 140 Handler w/ gasHyperTherm Powermax 380 Plasmaoxy/acetylene

Reply:Wow, that's a very generous thing to do for the folks on this site, I hope to make it one day now that I know.Regards to all.Working on cars and bikes is my hobby, learning to weld the pieces together is my quest.
Reply:I will be there
Reply:Hmm. looks like we're gonna have alot of guests again...  I should be there that day. If you never been  GO ! It will probaly be worth your time. By the way for those who don't know me  I work with Zap!
Reply:So is there free beer for the one that travels the farthest for this event. I can show you my ticket stub   I will be getting back to the states the day before so i will be a little tired Maybe next class I can for sure make it.BrucePeople are more violently opposed to fur than leather because it's safer to harass rich women than motorcycle gangs.  Unknown Pro Mig 175Hyphertherm 600Lots of toys at work

I will be there. I will need to see about getting a hotel room for Friday night and possibly Saturday depending on how long things run. Is there any idea how late things normally run. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to say? Thanks,Jim

Reply:I would like to go so please count me as tentative.  It's about an 8 hour drive from Buffalo (maybe 7), so I'm going to be weather dependent.  If we get slammed with snow, it'll be a no go for me, but if the weather holds I will drive down on Friday night.I know, snow in early November?  We had 2 feet on the ground October 13th here last year..Ryan
