Reply:Excellent machine. Get it.
Reply:I am not familier with the 200dx but I did work with a miller shop master that was set up with tig, and wire feed , it wasnt to bad for size , and it did every thing from small to large ( respectively ) and we had it set up for 220 single phase, so depending on how far you get into this there is a bit of food for thought.
Reply:If you have the bucks get it! You will love it Me!
Reply:lotza moola but goode toy! Get it.Love welding? http://industrial-tools-equipment.com
Reply:Was my first welder (I know learning on a Dynasty 200DX...go for the gold huh?). Anyhow, demo'ed the Thermal Arc ArcMaster 185 ACDC, and was blown away. Everything about it suited me better, and made me feel connected. The arc is FAR smoother in both TIG and SMAW. Mentioned this to my Miller dealer who after my purchase took me aside and told me that he too sold his Dynasty 200DX for the ArcMaster 185ACDC. Do yourself a HUGE favour and go demo both units to see what kind of arc you like. If you like a soft (almost like an SA200) you'll really like the ArcMaster. If you like a hefty wallet you might also like it!BTW: I still LOVE Miller, and sold my Miller for more than what I paid for it even though I got to keep the leads, etc! The Dynasty just wasnt for me.ThermalArc 185MillerMatic 180 w/ AutosetVictor Cutskill Oxy/AcetyleneThermal Dynamics Cutmaster 38and spite!
Reply:I bought a Dynasty 200DX this spring when my TA machine died and the repair shop said they could not fix it because it is an "Off brand" which means that not many of them are used around this area. The TA was a good machine but I would not buy another for the above reason. I like the Dynasty200 as it is easily portable and can be operated off of a generator. I can use it for stick welding on the ranch for fences that I could not get a larger welder close to. It is a lot of welder in a small package.
