Anyone tell me a good place to buy a 8 or 10 gauge extention cord?
Reply:Lowes...Home Depot, Ebay etc etc...
Reply:Make it yourself. It will be better quality than the rubber molded ends that the commercial ones use.
Reply:Yeah i just want the cord so i can make one up myself.I was just wondering if you knew of a good place to get one is. Thank you!
Reply:Home depot has the ridged 100 ft of 10/3 for $90....
Reply:Home Depot or anywhere that carries electrical supplies. Use SO, SJO, SJOOW cord for an extension. Just make sure to choose the proper insulation voltage rating for the job. Some of these offer a thicker outer jacket which is good if you will drag it around a lot.I always make them one size larger than what you'd need since it doesn't cost much more. I used 50' of #6 for my MultiMaster 260 and the Precision TIG 185 |
