Help choosing welder.

Hello, Im new to this forum. I just need some help choosing the right welder.I have been welding as a hobby for about 10 years now, I have a old buzz box stick welder, a 175 lincoln mig welder and a 175 lincoln tig welder. I want to get a mig that can weld up to 1/2'' steel, and can all so weld the small stuff my little mig would. I would like a get a machine that can run a spool gun for welding thicker aluminum as well.Im looking at either the miller 252 or the lincoln 255 mig with spool gun. Is one better than the other? or should I be consitering another machine?Also how think of aluminum can one of these spool guns weld?Any help would be appreciated.Larry
