Guys, I have a job that I need about 100 identical pieces of 10ga or 3/16" cut out. If things work out then I can see a few hundred a year of these parts being needed. The pieces are basically an eight pointed star with slots cut in the points. I don't care if it is done with plasma or water jet as long as they are smooth and identical. I have a pattern now or I can draw it off. If you can do this or know someone who could supply this service please let me know. Reply:im well fixed, i have a haco 1/2 laser less than 10 minutes from home at a former employer and great connections with the local steel supplier , sisken steel ( thick plate burning ) and loftis metals for aluminum and stainless waterjet work and steel plasma under 3/4.I am looking into the " Steel tailor " machine. Reply:Siskin steel can do thin plate with their Hypertherm HyDefinition plasma systems.....why don't you just get Sisken to do them for you?Jim Colt

Reply:Chattanooga......I saw one of the posters mention that they get their steel from them....and I know they do custom cutting as I had a hand in selling them their plasma systems over the years!jim

Reply:ALMA machine services in Carrollton has a CNC machine...no clue about prices.remove the AT and DOT and replace with @&.alma707(AT)aol(DOT)comSmithboy...if it ain't broke, you ain't tryin'.
