I am converting European paper prints into AutoCAD and there are weld callouts with a (right triangle) with a line thru it followed by 12-250 EI am interested in a source that will help me convert these into the standard callouts I am familiar with. Any help would be great. Thanks
Reply:if you can, i would talk with the original engineer/draftsman... i work on a daily basis, via e-mail, with German engineers for pieces of equipment that they manufacture. it's surprising how fluent they are at English. i have actually learned words from them that i had to look up in an English dictionary. lol. from the sounds of it, maybe a fillet weld that was not drawn properly.Later,Andy

Reply:some times the side view is the oppasit of what you think it should be, the EU set the standard same as ours but whoever did the drawing may have been trained to do it "backwards"
