I'd like to mount my #2 argon tank on the side of a new welding cart. Does anyone know of a "side saddle" style contraption to allow the tank to "piggyback" on the side of a workbench/cart?I guess this might be something equivalent to a fire extinguisher mount ??Thanks !
Reply:Your probably gonna have to fabricate something. A 6" piece of channel iron with a piece of 3" flat iron welded across the bottom, and a couple hooks on the side, to attach a ratchet strap to hold the bottle in the channel would work for your application. It would be an easy project as well.I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......
Reply:Thanks for the idea, it's much better than mine. I was going to "capture" it into the corner of some 3" angle stock. Your idea will serve much better as far as providing better "envelope" or "shroud". Thanks !
