I noticed something today that I wanted to ask about.  I had one of my guys running a 12vs feeder off of my Ranger GXT this afternoon, and I went to grind a piece and the grinder acted like it was running on low voltage.  Never had a problem while someone was stick welding and needed to run a tool before so this kind of threw me for a loop.  Are the outlets run thru the process selector switch?  Can you not run power tools while in CV mode?  Anyone else run into this?I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......
Reply:With my G7 the fine control had to be turned all the way up.  I think it sez it right on the machine.  Ranger 250 puts out full all the time.DavidReal world weldin.  When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
Reply:never heard of that one. I know that my trailblazer i can do what ever i want to with it. Hell i have been welding and had a guy plasma cutting at the same time.
Reply:I haven't had any problems from the Ranger 275 in cv mode. Run a fan and grinders off of it while running an LN25 cranked way up. The GXT is a different critter though just from reading Lincoln's literature on it and that may have something to do with it.The difference between art and craft is the quality of the workmanship. Reply:I've read my manual, and can't find anything about it in it, and there isn't anything on the front panel about it either.  Looks like a call to Lincoln tech is in order tomorrow.  I'm kind of bummed about this right now.  I've been very pleased so far with the machine, and the feeder, but if my helper cant grind and fit while I'm welding I might have to change to a different machine.  Not sure I can handle not being able to multi task.I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......
Reply:I have a Lincoln Eagle 10,000 and it does say to turn the fine current adjustment to max for 110/220, but I have run the chopsaw off of it with it below halfway and can't tell any difference. I'd give Lincoln tech support a call and see what they say. I did that today with Victor and found out I don't have to replace my two obsolete cutting heads just put the repair kit for the 2460 in them and they are as good as new.The difference between art and craft is the quality of the workmanship.
