I want to add a foot pedal

I want to add a foot pedal to my 15 year old Power Kraft 230 Acr welder with High Frequency Arc Sabilizer. It works great! I would just like to upgrade it and I don't need a totaly new machine. Maybe even a water cooled torch too. Any ideas on where to look or what to look for? My local welding supply (Wesco) as been pretty helpful but they are also TOP dollar and I'm a little cheap.
Reply:does the machine have the capability to add a pedal?if not, there is a circuit that can be added, that is basically nothing more than a dimmer switch on 'performance enhancing drugs'What is the current control on that machine?  is it a lever you slide, or a knob...??
Reply:I can't remember the name of the company but there is one out there that makes foot pedal controls to fit almost any machine. A little use of google should point you right to them.The difference between art and craft is the quality of the workmanship. I am an artist.
