mig welder with auto-set

Can someone tell me if there is a lot of advantage for having the auto-set on the mig welder especially for someone with out a lot of experience. thanks for your advice

Reply:I have a Miller 140 with Autoset and I am really happy with it. I have been using it for over a year with what I consider good results. As the AirGas salesman told me, he has been a welder for 15 years and he could not set the machine any better than what the Autoset will do.
