Any interest in another Georgia welding school?

I need to brush up on my stick welding some over the next month, so I was wondering if anyone wanted to do another GA welding school or confab as I called the last one.  As before my shop is available with plenty of the equipment we'd need.I really need to get some serious practice stick welding along with pointers from experienced guys, so I'm hoping Hammack and a few of the others are game from the last one.
Reply:Let's get a date figured out, and I'll be there.  I'll bring my truck again with the new Ranger GXT and the accesories we will need for stick, mig, fluxcored, and AC/DC tig.  Also I'll bring the arc gouger, and ofcourse a torch and some steel.I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......

Reply:Hello, I've been lurking around this forum for a little while trying to glean bits of information here and there.  I do most of the welding at my work, and could always learn better techniques.  If you'll have me, I'd like to attend.  I live in Oakwood, just north of Flowery Branch.

Reply:Where/when are you interested in having this?I'm in Roswell/exit 7 off 400. Flowery Branch Is about 45 minutes drive north on 85 for me.I could definitely use some help with stick. If I could just *watch* somebody who is good do vertical up, I think that would help a lot. If you've got a spare 6-50 outlet, I can bring the Dynasty. I also have a small pile of scrap I can contribute.-Matt------------------------------------------

Reply:Yep - I'm all for having it at my shop again - but that means a serious drive for Hammack...  What weekend works out well for everyone?
Reply:Any weekend except for the 13th is good for me.  I can probably scare up some 1/4" thick scrap too if ya'll need it.

Reply:What are everybodies thoughts on Saturday the 20th of September?  Is that too soon?  If so, post your suggested date...Also - like I mentioned before, I am all for having it at my shop again.  Post any suggestions you have for other venues as well.

Reply:Honestly the 20th is a little quick for me.  I could probably make it, but I will be getting in from out of town on the 18th, and then have to turn around and head right back out.  I personally would be better sometime in OCT.   well except  Oct. 11I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......
Reply:Humm...  The two weekends following the 20th are out for me, which I believe takes us to the weekend thats out for Hammack.  So, how does the 18th of Oct look?  That's almost too far out for me to say for sure!
