I'm confused about an electrode I received. In kit AK-2 sold by CK Worldwide, they claim that a gray band means 2% ceriated. However, when I do a general google search for 'tungsten color ceriated', I find that2% ceriated should have an orange band, and a gray band means 'rare earth'. Whateverthat is. Why is CK Worldwide using non-standard banding?

Reply:You would think with world trade getting to be what it is. they would standardize things, Like metric and English, I had it.....one or the other and i prefer metric, it's much ez'er once you get used to it. Yes i live in the USA. Like ISO 9000 I think it's called. |
