My MIG welder has a 10 metre remote feed set up on it which is really handy, but the earth lead which clamps to the work piece is only about 2 metres long, which sort of defeats the purpose of having such a long remote feed.Can I extend or replace with a longer earth lead, and if so, how long can I go without causing problems ?
