Am I making an easy job hard work????I have a table that I have to clad with 100mm / 4" Stainless Steel wide strips. The strips are 0.7mm (0.0276") thin. They go around the table and I am unable to bend the corners as the table manufacturer is not precise with her measurements. My problem comes in the joining of the two pieces where they meet. I used a contact adhesive to glue them to the table and then fuse welded the corners as we can't have anything sharp to cut people. The welds were then cleaned/de-bured and polished. Is there better adhesives that are much stronger? The corners are the hard work-difficult, not to burn through once you've glued it all down.Any criticism or tips would be most welcome.
