Need help making connection.

I am trying to use a Lincoln Magnum SG, spool gun and attach it to a Millermatic 250.  I was wondering if anybody knew of an adapter that would work or has a wiring diagram so that I can do it manually. Thank you for the help in advance!
Reply:They make adapter plugs. saw a place on the web that had tons of them. It was months ago so can't recall who it was. Need to find them so I can hook my Lincoln Prince gun up to my Miller XR feeder, lol.The difference between art and craft is the quality of the workmanship. I am an artist.
Reply:Does your Millermatic 250 have a 14-pin or 10-pin connector?  The 252 and 350/350P have the 10-pin direct connector with 24vdc output for Miller spool guns.  There is an adaptor box that provides that for the 251 cause the 251 doesn't support spool gun use on it's own.  I don't know about the 250.You can change the Lincoln connector out to the Miller clocked 10-pin amphenol, if you're intending to use the Magnum gun permanently on the Miller machine.   As long as the Magnum runs on 24vdc and has similar potentiometer speed control specs, I would think it should work on the Millers with 24vdc spool gun output.   Miller makes the WC24 control box which rectifies 24vac to 24vdc with a 10-pin connector for machines that only have ac output on the 14 pin connector.HTP sells a spool gun control box that might work on the Millermatic 250.  You can find out about it on their website: www.htpweld.comMM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op
