Pipe bender from truck wheels

Hey I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of making a pipe bender out of wheels.  My uncle had one at his school and they used it to make gates and sell them to the local farmers.  You just have 2 wheels and you mount them on top of each other, leave enough room for the pipe to go inbetween them and then the radius of the bend is the size of the wheel.  Just wondering if anyone has heard of or has a bender like this.ThanksTom
Reply:we used an old wheel cut 2 holes in each side,  above the bead .used lag bolts attached to a stump and a chain around the stump.and bent pipe to make first roll cage for first dirt track car hey it worked. so i dont see why you couldn't build one using 2 wheels just need a way to hold it down an leverage to bend pipe
