Does anybody know anything about this www.weldingwand.ucoz.com? I want to buy, but first wish to find out the opinion of professionals.
Reply:What is it? Looks like it produced a lot of splatter, and WAY too much smoke for me to be inhaling! It's not what you can buy, it's what you can build.
Reply:[QUOTE=JC'sWelding;295500]What is it? To my eyes it looks like a superbomb, poor guy got so disoriented he thought he was at work welding, probably why the welds look so bad FelonCaution lurker lives here" hmmm That is serious, pass the ganja and pick up a 24 of MGD"
Reply:You do not know that this such. The Professional answer interests - someone worked with it the device?
Reply:Ok, I think Ive got it. The lighter gave it a way. It looks to be an adaptation of the Thermite welding processes in [stick form] its normally used to weld large objects, RR rails, and ship propeller blades. Once you light it, I dont think you can shut it down. If Im correct its dangerous to have around, its what brought the Hindenburg down in the late 30s. Google to Thermite welding and you will see a track crew welding with a Bomb.
Reply:I guess if your in the middle of the woods with no power or portable welder its better than nothing for temp repairs..
Reply:Ah!I get it!This is spam!Slick one!#1. If you don't like what I wrote, or if it offends you, then don't read it!#2. I am living life the way I see fit, if you don't like the way I'M living, tough sh**!
Reply:It not a spam. I wish to learn about it more. I have bought this device while deliver I try to learn more about it.

Reply:There is a video in the instructions section on the site. It looks like it brazes. It only burns at a temp 2700f / 1500C. Could be useful in remote areas. 3 yrs shelf life, too.
Reply:On a case of an extreme situation I wish to have in my arsenal.
Reply:UltorYou said you want to buy, then you said you want to learn while it is being delivered. Which is it?But from looking at the deposited material color, appears it might be brazed and not welded.Last edited by Chris Bar; 07-07-2009 at 01:06 AM.
Reply:When I will receive and I will try itself, I will necessarily write result. |
