the supplier delivered the material for my welding table. it will take me a few days to get started on it, so how do i store the top so it wont warp? Its now sitting on the concrete floor in the garage. it will likely be there for up to a week. should be fine, right? should i get some card board to raise it up 1/4 inch or so?the plate is 4 foot square, 1/2 inch thick.
Reply:unless you drive the car over it the piece should not warp. Lean it against the wall, or lay it on the floor. it will be fine. 1/2" plate takes a pretty good load to warp it.I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......
