I have an ESAB MigMaster 250 with spool gun and argon setup. Machine and spool gun has only run steel wire and now need to run aluminum. I need some base line settings for the spool gun and thru the machine feeding. No matter what I do with either setup, it just bird nests on me everytime. Runs great and always has with .035 and .045 steel wire setup. Here's what I got. ESAB MM250 with standard gun with new teflon liner (for aluminum) and ESAB spool gun. Both setup with L-TEC 5354 .035 wire spools and straight ARGON gas. The machine is a non digital setup. Just three dials, Wire speed 1-10, Fine voltage 1-8 and main voltage LOW-MED-HIGH. The spool gun has only one setting adjusting knob (0-9) for wire speed. I am welding aluminum NPT tank bungs to an aluminum tank. Tanks are 1/8" aluminum (4053). Always tig welded these but need to MIG do to the specs ( not sure why, thinks it's due to speed and cost). Any help would be great.ThanksTonyESAB250w/spool gun attachMillerBobcat 225GMIllerEconotig 150MillerSynchrowave 350LincolnLn25Miller Xtreme 12SHobartMegaArc 300DMillerTrailblazer 44G2004FL70 14'mechanics body14k crane 70cfm compr
