I have I mig machine, after two year of welding the machine does not do the arc, it turns on but does not produce any arc at all. Does anyone know what may be happen to it?

Reply:ok, start with the basics.Your original post says it turns on, but no arc. 1. So lets assume it's plugged in.2. Does your welder have a purge setting? If so, make sure it's not set to that.3. Is your ground connected to the work?4. Do you have wire feed when you pull the trigger?5. Do you have the polarity set correctly? (only need to worry about this once the wire is feeding)6. What type of welder is it? Does it have known issues, i.e. Campbell Hausfield, Chinese made, Harbor Freight?7.
